Dr. Daniels has 6 internationally recognized qualifications in dentistry and orthodontics, and was the recipient of 3 UK national prizes for orthodontic treatment, research, and clinical knowledge during his training career. He has practiced as a specialist orthodontist for over 25 years and has been a qualified dentist for over 35 years. Dr. Daniels personally undertakes every stage of the orthodontic process from computer-assisted diagnosis through to planning and treatment.

We are a small and friendly team at North Sydney Orthodontics headed up by the founder and owner of the business Dr Charles Daniels. All of our staff are experienced orthodontic assistants. We undertake regular training to ensure our practice not only meets the requirements of modern practice but is second to none. Our patients enjoy a warm welcome from our helpful staff and we are lucky to have native Chinese speakers in our team. I don’t publish their identities on the website to protect their privacy.

“I obtained my dental degree in Birmingham University UK graduated in general dentistry in 1988. I worked for 4 years in my first job as a general dentist but soon realized that my calling was to practice orthodontics as a specialist. This lead to a hospital and university career spanning 8 years of full time education, research and teaching. I won several national academic prizes during my training but always preferred the challenge of helping patients acheive their individual goals .
A desire for adventure brought me to the southern hemisphere in 2003. My transitional job in Australia was for a major health fund, which gave me a feel for life down-under, and in 2006 I established North Sydney Orthodontics so that I could practice orthodontic treatment to the best standards. I am lucky to have a great team most of whom have been with me for more than 10 years.
I enjoy a diverse set of outdoor pursuits including sailing, windsurfing kayaking, cycling and rock climbing. I purchased my surfboard in week 1 of my life in Australia but moved on to surf life saving. I ran the city to surf three times -returning a creditable personal best time of 62 minutes. I am the I T geek for North Sydney Orthodontics and I built and maintain our computer network , and enjoy building gaming computers and designing and updating my website
